Your life is full, and you don't want to spend a single second of it on paperwork.
I've never met a visionary who was patient with paperwork, planning, or processes.
But if you want to launch a nonprofit, those things are not options.
That's why I created a nonprofit startup consulting engagement that lets you keep your mind on other startup matters while I tackle the paperwork.
How The Engagement Works
Learning Is Important!
Having your paperwork done for you is important. If you're going to lead the organization, there are things you have to learn and do! So I'll teach you about startup requirements and advise you about key decisions that come with nonprofit startup.
Preparation & Paperwork
During this consulting engagement we'll work one-on-one to clarify your vision and draft a description of the nonprofit you want to launch. Next, we'll engage in a mini planning effort that will serve as the foundation for the state and federal paperwork. (The federal paperwork requires a program description and a 3-year budget.)
Then, I'll draft state Articles of Incorporation, help you apply for an employer ID number, prepare the application for federal tax-exempt status, and complete the state application to raise funds.
Along the way, I'll advise you about key organizational policies that will help strengthen your application for tax-exempt status. I'll coach you and your board through the process of developing and adopting those policies.
Another component of this engagement is board recruitment and training.
State law requires that you have a board of directors, and so together, we'll develop and implement a board recruitment strategy.
Then, I'll train your new directors on board duties and help you set up board operations.
For 3 months after I've completed the startup paperwork, you'll have up to 60 minutes each month if you need one-on-one coaching related to nonprofit startup.
How Long Will It Take?
Although I handle the paperwork for you, this is your vision; so we'll need to work together. So if you can devote about 2 to 4 hours for planing early in the startup process, the paperwork should be ready in 3 to 4 weeks.
The investment for this Nonprofit Startup Consulting Package is $2,700. You can use your PayPal account or a credit card (I never see your financial details.)
